Clonio is an AI clone platform that lets people create interactive digital replicas of themselves and others. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how you can control it.
We don't sell your data. We don't run ads. We collect only what we need to make the product work.
Account information
Your name and email address when you sign up. That's the basics — enough to create your account and keep you signed in.
Clone training data
Everything you provide to train a clone: interview responses, uploaded photos, documents, voice samples, video clips, and vault entries. This is the core of what makes your clone sound and think like you.
Voice and biometric data
Voice samples are processed by ElevenLabs to create a voice clone. Photos and videos may be processed by D-ID to generate a video avatar. These are used solely to power the clone features — they are never shared with anyone else or sold.
Payment information
Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full credit card number. Stripe processes all payment data under their own privacy policy.
Usage data
Basic logs of how the product is used, including chat sessions, to improve the service and enforce usage limits. Nothing exotic — just enough to keep things running smoothly.
Login history
We record login timestamps and basic device and IP information for security purposes — so you can see when and where your account was accessed.
Clonio uses the following third-party services to operate. Data shared with each provider is limited to what's necessary to deliver that specific feature.

No data is sold to or shared with any other third parties for advertising, analytics, or any other purpose.
To operate your account and clones
To generate AI responses that reflect the clone’s personality and knowledge
To process payments and manage your subscription
To enforce usage limits and prevent abuse
To improve the product based on aggregate usage patterns
To maintain security and investigate suspicious activity
You can delete your account at any time from the Account Settings page. When you do, we permanently delete:
Your profile and login credentials
All clones you created and their training data
All uploaded files including photos, documents, voice samples, and video clips
Your vault entries
Your chat history
Some data may remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 days before being permanently purged.
Clonio is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of Clonio after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
